It’s been a while…

I must apologize for my lack of posting lately! I have been so darn busy with working and running around and taking care of every day life, that I have neglected my dear blog…

Things here are so crazy. My husband’s hours were cut in half and I had to get a part time job as well. I also have been doing everything I can to try to make a buck… Times are so tough all over, I am very grateful that my husband is working at least half time!

Today is a sad day. My friend had to put her beautiful dog Angel to sleep today. I have been helping her out by taking Angel out for potty breaks while my friend was working long hours. The poor dog had cancer and her organs were failing. My friend held onto her as long as she could, but it was time to let her go. I will miss sweet Angel so much… Here is a photo of her with my daughter. We took pics the other day, because we knew she wasn’t going to be around much longer…

Memorial to Brandy

I made this digital scrapbook page as a memorial to my sister and brother-in-law’s dog Brandy who passed away suddenly almost 2 weeks ago. She was only 5 years old and such a sweetie. I will miss her very much, and so will a lot of other people.

I did not compose the poem, I found it online somewhere and just changed a few words to make it fit. I miss her.

How do I resist this face???

Isn’t this the sweetest little freakin’ face you have ever seen?

I am on the fence right now about purchasing this cute little Bichon, whom I will call “Dudley”. On the fence, leaning more to one side, is the statement I should be making… I went to WalMart and PetsMart today and bought everything I would need “in case” I decide to buy him…. I also told the breeder I would be there on Sunday to get him…. BUT I am still not 100% sure! haa!!

I actually wanted to go pick him up today, but it was too late by the time my hubby got home. PLUS, we are having a big block party on our street tomorrow and I don’t want to be all tired and crabby from lack of sleep from the puppy, ya know? …

Sooooooo, we’ll see what happens, but I think I will be having another family member shortly! The breeder said that the puppy was rejected by his mom and she didn’t want anything to do with him. He was the 7th and last of the litter. So, the Maltese that had pups the day before took him as her own and nursed him. Isn’t that sweet, yet sad? I hope it all works out and I make the right decision. I hope my 2 cats don’t flip out either! YIKES!!!!!
